Standards Compliance
All Data Sharing for Demographic Research (DSDR) Web pages comply with the U.S. Federal Government's Section 508 Standards, specifically the sixteen rules governing Web-based intranet and internet information and applications.
All DSDR Web pages validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
Links
Whever possible, links have descriptive names.
There are no links that open new windows without warning.
Images
All content images used in the DSDR Web site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
Due to the nature of our Web site, there are few if any images that are contain complex information.
Some of our help documentation features screen captures for statistical software. Text descriptions of these screen captures are not provided, as the software in question is not accessible.
Visual design
This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout.
This site uses relative font sizes throughout.
If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
