JoAnne McFarland O'Rourke is the Principal Investigator of two initiatives at ICPSR. She is Director of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA), which is funded by the Office of Applied Studies (OAS), SAMHSA. She is also the PI for Project 3 of the Human Subjects Protection and Disclosure Risk Analysis Project: Statistical Disclosure Control: Best Practices and Tools for the Social Sciences. Funded by NICHD, this project includes an extensive literature review, a Web survey of researchers and archivists, and tool development, testing, and dissemination.
