ICPSR offers a selection of data collections for online data analysis using the Survey Documentation and Analysis (SDA) system developed and maintained by the Computer-Assisted Survey Methods Program at the University of California, Berkeley. For more information, visit the SDA Web site.
ICPSR currently uses SDA Version 3.2 for all studies formatted for this analysis package. For more information about SDA capabilities, view the Online analysis using SDA page.
Nesstar permits online data analysis and visualization as well as subsetting and export to a variety of formats. Data collections available through Nesstar contain step-by-step instructions for each screen within each of the Nesstar data collections. The Nesstar tool was developed through a partnership between the UK Data Archive and the Norwegian Social Science Data Service. For more information visit the Nesstar Web site.
If you have any questions or suggestions about Nesstar, please contact us at netmail@icpsr.umich.edu.
